Nicholson River General Store REVIEW

It's been a while since I did a review here on The Informal Foodie. This review is no Vue de Monde, but equally worthy!!! The Nicholson River Store sells the most amazing pies. Selections like Lamb and Rosemary, Venison and Beef Brisket alongside Thai Yellow Curry Chicken and your classic Chunky Beef. 

Venison Pie - Full of flavour and some really big chunks of venison in the rich gravy, a few vegetables to make you feel a little bit healthy!!!

Beef Brisket - Tender and delicious. Probably the BEST beef I have ever tasted in a pie!!

Score- 10/10 Perfection and well worth a 3 hour drive from Melbourne!!
